New Youth Pastor

Tony Irving joins our Leadership Team at CLC on 4th May as Youth Pastor.  Tony had spent the last 2 years leading the youth ministry at the Elim Church in Yeovil, Somerset.  We are thrilled that someone with the passion, expertise and experience Tony has is able to lead our thriving youth ministry forward.  We have a phenomenal group of young people at CLC and huge aspirations for who they are becoming in God and the way in which they are shaping the future of our church.

Acts of Kindness Auction

This event was arranged to raise money for two of our significant outreach ministries - ACTS and TEEN CHALLENGE BIRMINGHAM.  People from our church offered such things as lawn mowing, hairdressing, meals at their home, pamper sessions, car washing, drum and paino lessons, house cleaning and may other 'acts of kindness' for auction.  Pastor Stuart took the gavel and a few tips from 'under the hammer' and encouraged people to bid generously for themselves or people they knew.  As a result over £2,000 was raised on a night of great fun and hilarity.
